You’re Invited to the
Mid-Cities SOS General Meeting
Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:30 a.m.
5301 Riverwalk Dr. Colleyville, TX 76034
Our speaker will be Steve Tapper, owner of Hewitt and Cowden Investigations in Southlake and is a licensed private investigator and professional bodyguard. Steve is a surveillance expert and a renowned instructor at the University of North Texas in their Private Investigator Certification program and teaches Senior education classes at Tarrant County College. Steve holds a degree in Law Enforcement, and was a Game Warden enforcing Fish and Game laws in Oklahoma after graduating from the US Army Military Police Academy.
He has extensive experience in fraud, domestic, custody and abuse cases. Of great concern these days is our ability to maintain a circle of safety around us – whether it is while we are out doing our personal errands or maintaining our personal safety while online. It is far too easy to give away too much information and this can seriously jeopardize our safety and whereabouts. Let’s learn the basics of what we must be aware of from this experienced professional. No woman should miss this presentation.

We are highly encouraging all members to RSVP. This makes our check in and reconciliation process so much easier.
Thank you for your consideration.
We are right in between the chilly and hot seasons, so the shelter closets needs both cool clothes to finish the summer and warm items to have ready for fall.
We are looking for (gently-used) great clothes of all kinds, casual, work, interview-appropriate:
all is needed (especially new underwear, large and plus size clothing, including maternity.) Also, shoes, handbags, accessories. And, if you happen to have other “donatables” than you would like us to find a home for, bring them in your car to our meetings – we’ll gladly unload and re-deliver to the right place for you. Please do let you friends and neighbors know of our needs, you never know where good help may come from! Let’s stock up the shelters’ shelves again – clothes, school items, towels, decor – all goes to very good use!
