A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD

Who Cares About Domestic Violence Survivors? We Do!

Domestic violence is a devastating reality for millions of people around the world. One in three women will experience the terror of domestic violence. Every year, thousands of women and children suffer from physical, sexual, and emotional abuse at the hands of their loved ones.

The number one priority of Mid-Cities Supporters of SafeHaven (SOS) is the financial support of SafeHaven, the largest domestic violence service provider in Tarrant County, Texas. Since 1986, Mid-Cities SOS has raised over $3.4 million to provide shelter, counseling, legal aid, housing, and other vital services to victims of domestic violence in Tarrant County.

We believe that everyone deserves to live in a safe and loving home. We hope that you will help us create stories of survival by becoming a member, volunteering, donating, and/or giving.

Together We Can Make a Difference

Bringing Hope to Those Who Have to Leave

It may be hard to believe that the person sitting next to you in church, a co-worker, or a close friend may be experiencing abuse. Domestic violence can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion, sex, or gender identity.

Domestic violence not only affects those who are abused, but also has a substantial effect on family members, friends, co-workers, other witnesses, and the community at large.

Domestic violence is a serious problem that affects millions of people in the United States each year. In Tarrant County alone, there were over 11,000 domestic violence incidents reported in 2023. We need your help to continue providing support to women and children starting new lives.

Empower Survivors.
